Role
Overview
Gravety Goose is a 3D shoot 'em game that requires constant movement and keen accuracy to get through the game. The player is a pilot of a ship whose goal is to rid the area of enemy flyers. As the player destroys these ships, the player recieves a bounty as a reward of cleaning out the area.
The goal of this game was to learn and push our limits of what can be done in Unity. This was the first team project in Unity and it was an incredible learning experience - not just in programming, but as a team player. Gravity Goose was made for my SGPG490 Senior Project class in a team of 5 other programmers.
While doing this project, I learned the importance of documentation and team collaboration. There are many instances where we would find ourselves going in a different direction with the project, making it difficult to put the pieces together. All in all, the team came together and was able to put together this project.
